Amy Sedaris stars as JD LeGrand in ‘Seriously Distracted,’ PopSugar’s debut web series.
Amy will star in PopSugar’s first-ever scripted series! ‘Seriously Distracted’ debuts next Tuesday, October 21, on PopSugar.com, AboveAverage.com and both companies’ YouTube channels. According to the Hollywood Reporter, “The eight-episode series stars Amy Sedaris as JD LeGrand, the head of New York publicity firm LeGrand PR. Although the firm is one celebrity client away from making it big, LeGrand’s employees are constantly distracted by their pop culture obsessions, which range from Tinder and Scandal to James Franco and SoulCycle.”
Eight episodes from the series’ first season will roll out weekly. You can watch a preview of ‘Seriously Distracted’ on YouTube here.
You’ll be able to catch Amy Sedaris on Alpha House once again when season 2 is added to Amazon Prime on Friday, October 24! Amy will be returning to her recurring guest star role as Louise Laffer, wife of senator Louis Laffer. If you haven’t watched the first season yet, you still have time to catch up!
Amy Sedaris will be doing a meet-and-greet at Fishs Eddy’s NYC store on Broadway next Saturday, September 13, at 3 p.m., to promote her new I Like You line of kitchen and hosting wares. She’ll also be selling her homemade potholders! Can you find out more info about the event here.
