Michael Kantor and Laurence Maslon host a panel discussion to explore what America laughs at and why. Kantor has created a six-part series on comedy that will air on PBS in January 2009. His last project, Broadway: The American Musical won an Emmy Award. Maslon is an associate professor of arts at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and the author of several books.
