Throwing a Halloween bash, Amy Sedaris-style

Amy Sedaris Halloween party tips

This is an oldie, but a goodie–always worth revisiting in October. 🙂

When her first book, I Like You, was released, Epicurious ran a feature on Amy about entertaining at Halloween. (Her menu includes meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn and pumpkin pie, and movie suggestions include Dracula, Frankenstein, and camp classics like Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?). You can read the whole article here: Fright Night: Amy Sedaris gives us a Halloween party to scream about

On a side note, I’ve done this menu for autumn dinner parties a few times, and Amy’s meatloaf recipe is always a huge hit! (Even though the recipe says red wine is optional, don’t leave it out. Seriously, people go bonkers for this meatloaf every time I make it.)
